    Zvago Cooperative Living is looking for a Cooperative Living Sales Manager to join its team. Zvago Cooperative Living is an ownership housing lifestyle for people ages 62 and better looking to downsize and maintain many of the same financial benefits of home ownership.  Zvago currently has 5 cooperative communities underway throughout the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota and plans to develop 3 new locations in the next year.  As part of our strategic plan and commitment we are excited to announce that we are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to the Zvago team. 

     

    This is a great opportunity for an individual possessing skills to market and sell a lifestyle and ownership housing choice for the greatest growing population.  This position would work out of the centralized Zvago Cooperative Living Sales and Design Studio located in the heart of Edina in Centennial Lakes Plaza joining a dynamic group of individuals who are all passionate experts in cooperative housing and advocates to our consumers.

    Responsibilities

    The Cooperative Living Sales Manager is responsible for selling shares of our cooperative housing, including new lead generation, outreach and sales. A significant portion of this role requires meeting with potential and current buyers and local community businesses. This person will work in accordance with established procedures under the direction of the Senior Sales Manager.

     

    Essential job responsibilities include:

     

    1. Manage the daily activities of the sales office while maintaining focus on achieving company goals which include achieving a minimum 60% pre-sale of units prior to construction commencement, coordinate and process all necessary paperwork and help coordinate and execute the marketing plan.

    2. Adhere to the company’s selling philosophy when serving the prospective buyers utilizing all tools provided.  This could include touring them through the Sales and Design Studio, undecorated models which may be at various stages of construction and or other existing Zvago communities.

    3. Lead the communication with prospects which includes, presenting the Zvago product to consumers, local businesses and civic organizations, in addition to meeting and greeting prospects in person, on the telephone or online, conducting follow-up calls to sales leads and fosters relationships with prospects while retaining them through the construction phase of the project.

    4. Manages day-to-day sales operations including inventory, updates Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and manages sales reports.

    5. Develop and foster professional relationships with current and potential customers and referrals.

    6. Works in collaboration with the greater Zvago team to provide input and guidance on marketing tactics to ensure sales goals are attained.

    7. Works collaboratively with the Home Customization Manager to ensure unit selections are coordinated to solidify the sale.

    8. Work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.

    Qualifications

    Cooperative Living Sales Manager

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

     

    • High school diploma or equivalency
    • 3-5 years of experience in sales management and marketing
    • Current valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • Ability to effectively present information in one on one, large groups and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work evenings and weekends

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field
    • Two years working with the senior population
