    Ecumen Prairie Lodge seeks a Resident Services Coordinator to join its team.  Ecumen Prairie Lodge consists of 30 assisted living suites, as well as 59 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services and is located in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Ecumen creates home for older adults wherever they choose to live.     Responsibilities

    The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for scheduling all direct care staff. Assures personal cares are scheduled and delivered appropriately, resident’s needs are being met and that the community is adequately staffed 24/7.

     

    Essential job responsibilities include:

     

    1. Assures community has adequate staff to care for residents 24 hours a day/ 365 days a year.

    2. Coordinates staffing and scheduling of direct care staff.

    3. Confirms daily service schedules and print as needed.

    4. Reviews and coordinates requests for time off, schedule changes, and overtime with Supervisor approval.

    5. Assists with resident cares as needed included, but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, medication administration, dining assistance, and other RN delegated tasks.

    6. Assures medication administration records and other paperwork is properly filed. Perform monthly chart audits.

    7. Assists in training and mentoring new resident assistants.

    8. Helps each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.

     

    Qualifications

    Resident Services Coordinator

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Previous experience working with seniors
    • Current valid driver’s license if applicable
    • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
    • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

     

    • GED or High School Diploma
    • 3 or more years working with older adults
