    Responsibilities

    The Development Project Manager will be responsible for remodels of Ecumen’s existing communities, and will support new construction projects and implementation of new business opportunities for Ecumen. For construction and interior refresh project, scope of responsibility will commence in due diligence through project turnover. This individual will be responsible for oversight of architects, engineers, interior designer, budgets, contracts, scheduling and coordination with Ecumen operations and marketing teams. Additionally, responsibility will include evaluation of opportunities to enhance corporate revenue through successful development of project delivery best practices and new businesses, including but not limited to the purchase of senior housing, gaining management, development and marketing opportunities in senior housing, and other business opportunities that are consistent with Ecumen’s growth plan and revenue goals.

     

    Essential job responsibilities include:

     

    1. Provide research, analysis, and recommendations consistent with Ecumen’s growth plan.

    2. Manage existing building projects in partnership with site leadership including oversight of scope, schedule, budget, bidding and key vendors / contractors.

    3. Support Business Development leadership in managing execution of new business & real estate opportunities, consistent with Ecumen’s revenue goals.

    4. Serve as Business Development team liaison in customization efforts for new housing projects as point of contact with customers, sales team and vendors.

    5. Identify, develop and maintain relationships with FF&E vendors. Lead material and equipment research. Establish key direct sourcing partnerships.

    6. Establish criteria for FF&E selections at existing and new sites. Coordinate selection and procurement in partnership with Ecumen’s Procurement team and site leadership for capital projects.

    7. Coordinate internal Ecumen teams in implementing capital projects and business development opportunities.

    Qualifications

    Business Development Project Manager

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

     

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate Development, Project Management, Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design or Business
    • Relevant Experience: A minimum of 3 years experience in one of the following areas: senior living, business development or design / real estate project management
    • Licensure/Certification: N/A
    • Current valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance (if applicable)
    • Other knowledge, skills and abilities:
      • Proven project management skills
      • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at a given time
      • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize responsibilities in order to consistently meet deadlines
      • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with a minimum of supervision
      • Ability to work effectively across company lines
      • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong analytical skills
      • Strong leadership skills
      • Travel- 20%
