    Our internship is designed to provide an opportunity to gain knowledge of organizational development work in a senior housing and services company.  We’re hiring an Intern to work on our corporate Organizational Development (OD) / Human Resources (HR) team in Shoreview, MN.

    Responsibilities

    The Organizational Development (OD) Intern will work collaboratively with Ecumen’s OD team to create a catalog of the Ecumen University course work as well as a resource guide to assist employees interested in advancing their careers through relevant education.

     

    Primary responsibilities for the OD Intern include:

     

    • Create a comprehensive, easy to use and easy to maintain course work catalog of Ecumen University offerings.
    • Create a twin cities area resource guide for employees interested in pursuing a Trained Medical Assistant (TMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or similar certification. 
    • Provide project support and administrative back-up to the OD team.

     

    Qualifications

    Organizational Development Intern

    Minimum Required Qualifications:

    • Education: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in organizational development, human resources, communications or related field.
    • Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Excellent writing, editing and oral presentation skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) required.
    • Work well, both individually and as part of a team, through respect, collaboration, and dedication, and successfully interact with a diverse culture base 

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Student member of SHRM, TCHRA or other Human Resources network
