The Corporate Dining Manager is responsible for managing the enterprise-wide dining program for the Ecumen Housing with Services locations. This includes: standard menu creation, order guide compliance, compliance with Health Department Standards and new site manager training.


Essential job responsibilities include:


  1. Develops and manages the Standard Order Guide and ensures this is being used and that proper compliance tracking is being done at the sites.   Monitors monthly budget.

  2. Develops standard menus/recipes to meet resident and guest preferences, State regulations, and cost objectives; maintains information on Ecumen’s intranet, The Hub.

  3. Develops and implements standard dining policies and standard documentation for inspections related to housing.

  4. Assists with interviewing, hiring, orientation and training of new housing dining managers. Provides coverage as directed.

  5. Complete routine sanitation audits for housing locations and ensures sanitation standards are enforced. Directs other team members in implementation of routine cleaning procedures as needed.

  6. Conducts site kitchen equipment review and assist with replacement options.


Corporate Dining Manager

Minimum Required Qualifications:


  • High School graduate or GED
  • Certified Food Manager in accordance with MN Department of Health
  • Certified Diet Manager or Equivalent
  • 3 years of food service leadership or management experience
  • Previous experience in inventory control, food cost analysis, menu planning, event planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software required
  • Current valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Lifting up to 25#
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or similar
  • Previous experience in providing food service management for a senior living establishment
