Open Positions:

  • Full-time Mornings (7:00am - 3:30pm)
  • Full-time Evenings (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
  • Full-Time Overnights (11:00pm - 7:30am)
  • Part-time, mostly Overnights (11:00pm - 7:30am) with some Evenings (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
  • On-Call

Ecumen is seeking an energetic, passionate, and skilled professional to serve the Abiitan community. Abiitan, an Entrance Deposit community, will consist of 86 Independent Living residences, as well as an additional floor of residences for those requiring Memory Care.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Provides care as outlined in the resident’s plan of care.
  2. Provides physical care to residents according to established procedures and performance standards encouraging independence and dignity.
  3. Responds to resident call lights and requests within established standards.
  4. Reports pertinent information and concerns regarding residents, families, staff, visitors and building operation to appropriate personnel
  5. Reports changes in resident’s physical condition, behavior and level of independent functioning to the nurse.
  6. Accurately completes required documentation.
  7. Serves as a mentor for orientating new staff to the nursing assistant job duties and unit procedures and assist new employees in following established facility policies and procedures.
  8. Ability to provide input for resident care conferences and other facility meetings as assigned.
  9. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum age 17
  2.  Preferred Work Experience Required: 0-3 years of related experience
    1. Licensure/Certification Required: Minnesota registration as a Nursing Assistant/Registered.
