Overview

Ecumen Meadows seeks a Temporary Resident Services Coordinator to join its team.  Ecumen Meadows consists of 94 independent living and assisted living rental apartment homes, as well as 14 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services and is located in Worthington, Minnesota. Ecumen creates home for older adults wherever they choose to live. Responsibilities

 

The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for adequately staffing, training and scheduling Resident Assistants to ensure personal cares and resident’s needs are being met. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Schedules Resident Assistants to assure building is staffed 24 hours a day/365 days a year.  Approves all requests off, switches, etc. Assists with payroll of nursing staff.
  • Assist with hiring and training of all new Resident Assistants, mentoring as needed.
  • Fills in as a resident assistant in emergency situations and/or when shift cannot be covered.
  • Assist Resident Assistants with delegated tasks when needed including: Bathing, Dressing and Grooming, Personal Hygiene, Medication Administration, Diabetic Management, Meal preparation and assisting with residents who need help eating, Vitals, Transfers, and other treatments as assigned
  • Assures new resident paperwork is complete.
  • Creates, prints, and confirms daily schedules. Assists with month end billing process.
  • Assures medication sheets are in place and correct each month.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

This position prefers a person who has previous related experience as well as a current, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.  All Ecumen employees must possess the ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal skills; work well, both individually and as part of a team, through respect, collaboration and dedication; and successfully interact with a diverse culture base. The successful candidate must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently, and demonstrate a positive attitude, high integrity and ethical awareness.
