Rose Senior Living at Providence Park seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join its team. Rose Senior Living at Providence Park is developed and owned by Edward Rose & Sons, known for creating amenity-rich communities where people can appreciate comfortable and affordable living in beautiful settings. Partnering with Edward Rose & Sons is Ecumen, a not-for-profit organization that has grown to be one of the most innovative leaders in senior housing and services, empowering individuals to live richer and fuller lives. The Novi, Michigan, location will consist of 182 units:  69 independent living rental apartment homes, 75 assisted living rental apartment homes and 38 residences for seniors requiring memory care services.



The CNA is responsible for providing personal/wellness care and designated health-related services designed to maintain the resident’s physical and emotional wellbeing in the community. The Resident Assistant follows the service plan and schedule for each resident.  Essential job responsibilities include:


  • Assists the resident with personal/wellness care which may include, but is not limited to: dressing, grooming; shampooing hair; bathing using tub or shower; bed bath; sponge bath; rubbing with lotions; nail care; foot care; toileting, oral care, and other cares as assigned in the service plan or delegated by the Director of Resident Services. Assists resident with eating, drinking, walking and transferring.
  • Observes patient and reports changes in physical, cognitive and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc.
  • Applies or assists in the use of adaptive equipment which may include but not limited to: hearing aids, glasses, dentures and braces.
  • Actively leads and/or participates in life enrichment activities as scheduled and assigned.
  • Supports Environmental Services as requested and assigned.
  • Participates in meal preparation and service.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Relevant Experience: Experience working with seniors.
  • Able to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, Resident’s Bill of Rights, OSHA, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, Right to know, and MSDS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant Experience: One year experience as a CNA/HHA in home health or hospice environment.
