Ecumen Parmly LifePointes seeks a Wellness Specialist to join its team.  Ecumen Parmly LifePointes consists of 192 independent living and assisted living rental apartment homes, as well as 101 nursing home beds, 28 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services and is located in Chisago City, Minnesota. The Wellness Specialist will conduct a variety of exercises, and other wellness activities. Responsible for leading the exercise program, assist with creative planning, processing enrollments into the wellness program, and setting up appointments.

  • Take calls, set-up appointments, sign waiver form, process all paperwork for enrollment, and collect fees.
  • Orientate new clients to each piece of exercise equipment, explaining the benefits of strength training.
  • Set-up an exercise regimen specifically designed to each client’s capabilities.
  • Give ongoing feedback to the new client’s regarding their progress.
  • Change the flow of classes offered with new exercise routine and music to prevent boredom.
  • Be prompt and prepared to start class as scheduled.
  • Comply with all safety rules and personal protection procedures
  • Maintain current client files
